The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Tromso about 16 hours after landing.
The airline reported the aircraft needed to abort the first landing attempt due to strong wind and icing in the air but managed to land safely on the second approach. At the time the weather was terrible with strong westerly winds and thunderstorms.
Local police reported they were alerted to an aircraft arriving with an engine problem.
Earlier the day another SAS A20N needed to reject takeoff from Tromso, see Incident: SAS A20N at Tromso on Feb 12th 2023, rejected takeoff due to difficulties with directional control.
