An Air Wisconsin Canadair CRJ-200, registration N460AW performing flight ZW-3660 from Philadelphia,PA to Manchester,NH (USA) with 46 people on board, was departing Philadelphia's runway 27L when the crew stopped the climb at 12,000 feet and decided to return to Philadelphia without requesting assistance initially, but later declaring emergency reporting they had suffered a bird strike on the nose on departure, there were no abnormal indications. The aircraft landed safely on Philadelphia's runway 27L about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement CRJ-200 reached Manchester with a delay of 3:15 hours.

The FAA reported the incident aircraft received minor damage.
