A US Airways Airbus A319-100, registration N721UW performing flight US-1667 from Charlotte,NC to Saint Louis,MO (USA), had just left cruise flight level 350 and was descending through FL330 about 100nm northwest of Nashville,TN and about 150nm southeast of Saint Louis at 20:45L (02:45Z Dec 12th) when the aircraft encountered turbulence causing injuries to two flight attendants. The aircraft continued for a safe landing at Saint Louis about 30 minutes later.

The FAA reported two flight attendants received minor injuries.
