A Polar Airlines Let L-410, registration RA-67693 performing positioning flight R3-9933 from Neryungri to Magan (Russia) with 7 crew and a cargo of 10kg, was on approach to Magan when upon lowering the landing gear the nose gear did not indicate down and locked. The crew checked the mechanical indicators which suggested all gear struts were down and locked. The crew advised ATC, performed a low approach to Magan where ground observers confirmed all gear struts were down and positioned for a safe landing in Magan.

Rosaviatsia reported they have opened an investigation into the occurrence.
