A LATAM Chile Airbus A321-200, registration CC-BEL performing flight LA-157 from Calama to Santiago (Chile), landed on Santiago's runway 17R but burst the #4 tyre (outboard right main). The aircraft rolled out and taxied to the apron, where ground workers discovered the burst tyre and minor damage to the gear strut.

Chile's DGAC opened an investigation into the occurrence rated an incident.
