An Albanwings Boeing 737-400, registration ZA-ALB performing flight AWT-225 from Tirana (Albania) to Venice (Italy), was enroute at FL320 about 50nm southeast of Split (Croatia) when the cabin altitude horn activated and the crew initiated a descent to FL100. The aircraft continued to Venice for a safe landing about 50 minutes after leaving FL320.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Venice for about 2.5 hours, then departed for the return flight at normal cruise level.
