A Yakutia Aircompany Boeing 737-800, registration VP-BVE performing flight R3-511 from Khabarovsk to Anadyr (Russia), was enroute at FL370 about 1130nm east of Yakutsk (Russia) and about 140nm before Anadyr when the crew decided to turn the aircraft around and divert to Yakutsk, the airline's headquarters, due to a hydraulic failure. The aircraft descended to FL360 and landed safely in Yakutsk about 3:15 hours after the decision to divert.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Yakutsk about 12 hours after landing.

On Jun 9th 2020 Rosaviatsia reported the crew received a low hydraulic pressure warning, however, all hydraulic pressure and quantity indications remained normal. The captain decided to divert to the maintenance base Yakutsk due to lack of maintenance facilities in Anadyr. A commission has been formed to investigate the occurrence.
