An Aerolineas Argentinas Airbus A340-200, registration LV-ZPO performing flight AR-1133 from Madrid,SP (Spain) to Buenos Aires Ezeiza,BA (Argentina), was climbing out of Madrid's runway 36L when the crew could not fully retract the flaps, stopped the climb at FL150 and entered a holding to troubleshoot and dump fuel. The aircraft landed safely on Madrid's runway 32L about 90 minutes after departure.

The incident aircraft departed again as flight AR-1135 about 4 hours after the first departure, but needed to stop the climb again at FL150, returned to Madrid a second time and landed safely on runway 32R about 80 minutes after second departure.

The flight was subsequently cancelled. The incident aircraft is still on the ground in Madrid 10 hours after second return.
