On Apr 6th 2020 The Aviation Herald received a brief CAAC incident report stating the aircraft was enroute at 11,000 meters near Moscow when the crew received en engine #4 (CFM56) HYD PUMP LO PR message followed by an engine #4 generator fault and further followed by a "ENG 4 OIL LO PR" message. The crew reduced the engine to idle thrust, advanced the other engines to MCT (max continuous thrust) and subsequently noticed the fuel flow into engine #4 had reduced to zero and concluded the engine had shut down by itself. The crew dumped fuel for about 7 minutes and diverted to Moscow. An inspection of the engine revealed the bearing of the accessory gear box drive shaft failed causing the drive shaft to lock up, which in turn disrupted the rotation of the high pressure engine spool. The forces developed by the engine shaft caused the engine shaft to fracture failing the engine.
