An Indigo Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-IVO performing flight 6E-291 from Guwahati to Kolkata (India), was accelerating for takeoff from Guwahati when the left hand engine (PW1127G) suffered an engine stall associated with high vibrations prompting the crew to reject takeoff. The aircraft slowed safely.

India's DGCA reported on Mar 31st 2020, that the occurrence had been rated a serious incident, an investigation has been opened. A post flight inspection revealed damaged blades of the left hand engine's low pressure turbine stage 3.
