An American Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration N183UW performing flight AA-2061 from Charlotte,NC to San Francisco,CA (USA), was enroute at FL320 about 150nm southeast of Salt Lake City,UT (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Salt Lake City due to clogged toilets. The aircraft landed safely in Salt Lake City about 35 minutes later.

The toilets and lavatories were serviced, the aircraft continued after about 70 minutes on the ground and reached San Francisco with a delay of 100 minutes.
