A Jetblue Airbus A320-200, registration N793JB performing flight B6-914 from Fort Lauderdale,FL to Westchester,NY (USA) with 59 passengers and 5 crew, had been assigned runway 10R for departure and was holding short of the runway, when ATC switched the runway. The aircraft was instructed to taxi to the holding point runway 28L via runway 10R and the parallel taxiway. After arriving at the hold short position the aircraft was cleared to taxi into position and hold, and a minute later was cleared for takeoff. The crew rejected takeoff at low speed due to a hot brakes indication. The aircraft vacated the runway and stopped, subsequently returned to the apron, where the passengers disembarked.

The aircraft was repaired, the passengers boarded again, and the aircraft departed 4 hours later and reached Westchester with a delay of 3:40 hours.
