The FAA reported: "JetBlue Flight 1129 returned safely to Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport around 6:40 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 24, after striking a coyote while departing. The Airbus A320 was headed to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. The FAA will investigate. "
The aircraft remained on the ground in Providence for about 2 hours, then departed again and reached New York with a delay of about 2 hours.
