An Air Wisconsin Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of United, registration N461AW performing flight ZW-3821/UA-3821 from Washington Dulles,DC to Dayton,OH (USA), was climbing out of Dulles' runway 30 when the crew requested to stop climb at 4000 feet for troubleshooting. A few minutes later the crew reported they had resolved the indication problem and were ready to continue their flight. The aircraft continued climb but subsequently requested to immediately level off at 17,000 feet and return to Dulles advising they had a pressurization issue. The aircraft returned to Washington Dulles for a safe landing on runway 01C about 27 minutes after departure.

A replacement CRJ-200 registration N436AW reached Dayton with a delay of about 2 hours.
