A jet2.com Boeing 757-200, registration G-LSAM performing flight LS-918 from Tenerife Sur Reina Sofia,CI (Spain) to Manchester,EN (UK), was enroute at FL360 about 400nm north of Tenerife and about 380nm southwest of Faro (Portugal) when the crew decided to divert to Faro due to a hydraulic failure. The aircraft landed safely on Faro's runway 28 about one hour later.

A replacement Boeing 757-200 registration G-LSAD reached Manchester with a delay of 5 hours.
