A Wizzair Airbus A321-200, registration HA-LXZ performing flight W6-3081 from Bucharest Otopeni (Romania) to Brussels Charleroi (Belgium), was departing Otopeni's runway 26R when the crew reported a possible bird strike. A subsequent runway inspection found a dead pigeon on the runway, shortly afterwards the crew reported they had lost their weather radar. The crew stopped the climb at FL130 and returned to Otopeni for a safe landing on runway 26L about 40 minutes after departure.

A replacement A321-200 registration HA-LXU reached Brussels with a delay of about 4 hours.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service after about 6 hours on the ground.
