An Air India Boeing 787-8, registration VT-ANU performing flight AI-121 from Delhi (India) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany) with 191 people on board, was climbing out of Delhi's runway 29 when the crew stopped the climb at about FL220 due to problems with the cabin pressure and performed a rapid descent to FL100, the passenger oxygen masks were released. The aircraft returned to Delhi for a safe landing on runway 29 about 75 minutes after departure.

The flight was postponed to the following day.
