A US Airways Airbus A330-200, registration N284AY performing flight US-706 from Charlotte,NC (USA) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was enroute at FL370 about 35nm northeast of Philadelphia,PA (USA) when the crew reported they had a "slight passenger cabin issue" and needed to divert to Philadelphia later adding they could not get any water in the lavatories at the back of the cabin and could not fly on for another 9 hours or so with that issue. The aircraft entered a holding pattern to burn off fuel for about 45 minutes and landed safely on Philadelphia's runway 09R about 75 minutes after leaving FL370.

The aircraft was able to continue the flight after 2:10 hours on the ground and reached Frankfurt with a delay of 2:45 hours.

A passenger reported crew announced they had low quantity and low pressure in the water supply. The problem was fixed on the ground and the flight continued.
