A LATAM Brazil Airbus A321-200, registration PT-XPA performing flight JJ-4559 from Aracaju,SE to Brasilia,DF (Brazil), was descending through FL230 towards Brasilia on the standard arrival route with deviations around weather when the aircraft encountered hail causing both windshields to crack. The aircraft continued to Brasilia for a safe landing on runway 29R about 20 minutes later.

Brazil's CENIPA confirmed the occurrence, rated the occurrence an incident and advised that no investigation will be conducted and no report will be released.
