Passengers reported upon disembarkation they noticed the nose (radome) of the aircraft was dented.
The airline reported the hail strike occurred shortly after takeoff completely beyond the control of the company's control and without operational losses.
The aircraft remained on the ground in Sao Paulo for about 7 hours, then returned to service.
