A Nordwind Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration VP-BSO performing flight N4-1768 from Monastir (Tunisia) to Rostov on Don (Russia) with about 150 people on board, was enroute at FL350 about 260nm north of Antalya (Turkey) about to cross the Black Sea when the crew reported a problem with one of the engines (CFM56) and decided to divert to Antalya. The aircraft drifted down to FL240 and landed safely in Antalya about an hour later.

A replacement Airbus A321-200 registration VQ-BRT was dispatched to Antalya, resumed the flight and reached Rostov with a delay of 7.5 hours.
