A Flydubai Boeing 737-800, registration A6-FDV performing flight FZ-751 from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (Turkey), was on approach to Sabiha Gokcen's runway 06 when the crew stopped the approach at 3000 feet due to a problem with the flaps, climbed to 5000 feet and entered a hold. The aircraft remained in the hold for about 40 minutes, then positioned for another approach and landed safely on runway 06 at a higher than normal speed about 50 minutes after the go around.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for 16 hours, then departed for the return flight FZ-752 and reached Dubai with a delay of 15.5 hours. The aircraft is still on the ground in Dubai 7 hours after landing.
