On Mar 20th 2018 the NTSB reported the #1 engine (outboard left hand) engine suffered an uncontained turbine failure during the climb. The aircraft returned to Bishkek for an uneventful three engine landing. Th occurrence was rated an incident. The NTSB representing the engine manufacturer assigned an accredited representative to join the investigation led my Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Transport and Communication.
