An Air Botswana Avion de Transport Regional ATR-42-500, registration A2-ABP performing flight BP-205 from Gaborone (Botswana) to Johannesburg (South Africa) with 47 people on board, reported engine (PW127E) trouble while on approach to Johannesburg. The aircraft continued for a safe landing in Johannesburg.

The onward leg BP-206 to Gaborone departed with a delay of more than an hour on replacement ATR-42-500 A2-ABO.
