The aircraft was unable to depart for its next scheduled leg due to the damage to the radome, the radome needed to be replaced. The aircraft remained on the ground for about 13.5 hours before returning to service.
The status of Crimea and Simferopol is disputed. According to international law and United Nations the Crimea belong to the Ukraine although Russia annexed Crimea in 2014.
