A Swiss Global Airlines Bombardier CS300, registration HB-JCA performing flight LX-352 from Geneva (Switzerland) to London Heathrow,EN (UK) with 54 passengers, was descending towards London over the English Channel when the crew stopped the descent at FL250 due to a problem with the generator of the left hand engine (PW1524), climbed the aircraft back to FL370 and returned to Switzerland diverting to Zurich for a safe landing on runway 14 about 2 hours after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 21 hours, then returned to service.
