A Flybe Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A on behalf of SAS Scandinavian Airlines, registration G-FBXB performing flight SK-81 from Stockholm to Visby (Sweden), landed on Visby's runway 21 at about 16:41L (13:41Z) but touched down hard nose gear first producing about 2.9G vertical acceleration. There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained substantial damage however.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Visby until Jun 5th 2017, then performed a gear down ferry flight to Stockholm for further repairs. The aircraft returned to service on Jun 8th 2017.
