A Silver Airways Saab 340B, registration N435XJ performing flight 3M-82 from Key West,FL to Tampa,FL (USA) with 28 passengers and 3 crew, was in the initial climb out of Key West when the crew reported engine trouble and diverted to Key West's Naval Air Station, 4nm east of Key West Airport, for a safe landing.

Key West Airport reported the passengers were taken back to Key West Airport and rebooked onto other flights.
