A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N7846A performing flight WN-4266 from Denver,CO to San Francisco,CA (USA) with 119 people on board, was descending towards San Francisco when the crew reported a blown tyre at the right side and decided to divert the aircraft to Oakland. The aircraft landed safely on Oakland's runway 12 and stopped, emergency services reported the right outboard wheel was running on its rims. The aircraft was shut down on the runway and was towed to the apron.

The runway was closed for about 30 minutes.
