A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration 9M-LCD reached Perth with a delay of 3 hours.
A passenger reported during takeoff an electrical odour entered the cabin, shortly afterwards two loud bangs occurred with streaks of flames out of the left hand engine, the engine was shut down.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground until Apr 3rd 2017 (37 days), then resumed service.
