An Asiana Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration HL7746 performing flight OZ-732 from Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) to Seoul (South Korea) with 290 people on board, had lined up Ho Chi Minh City's runway 07L and had stopped in position ready for departure, when the aircraft became disabled due to a brakes problem. The aircraft remained on the runway for about 4 hours until the aircraft could be moved off the runway.

Listeners on frequency reported that there was no information about the runway closure on ATIS, the single runway operation caused substantial delays.

The occurrence aircraft was able to resume service about 18 hours after aborting takeoff preparations.
