A Lineas Aereas Suramericanas Boeing 727-200, registration HK-4637 performing a flight from Bogota to Leticia (Colombia), was climbing out of Bogota when the aircraft suffered a hydraulic failure and returned to Bogota for a safe landing on runway 13L. The aircraft stopped at the end of the runway and was disabled.

Colombia's Aerocivil reported the aircraft suffered a hydraulic failure affecting the landing gear. The runway was closed for about 4 hours until the aircraft could be moved off the runway.
