A Jetblue Airbus A320-200, registration N658JB performing flight B6-1020 from Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago) to Fort Lauderdale,FL (USA), was descending towards Fort Lauderdale temporarily maintaining FL240 about 80nm eastsoutheast of Fort Lauderdale when the aircraft encountered turbulence causing altitude deviations of -200/+150 feet. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 10R about 25 minutes later.

The FAA reported a passenger received serious injuries when the aircraft encountered turbulence near Fort Lauderdale at 23:31Z.
