A Wings Air Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration PK-WFV performing flight IW-1286 from Bandung to Bandar Lampung (Indonesia), landed on Bandar Lampung's runway 32 at 14:15L (07:15Z) but burst both left hand main tyres and came to a stop disabled on the runway center line near taxiway B about 1200 meters/3900 feet down the runway. There were no injuries, the aircraft received minor damage, the runway received a set of new grooves.

The local weather station reported at 10:00L winds from northnorthwest at 5 knots, visibility 10km, temperature 27 degrees C, dew point 24 degrees C, scattered cloud, QNH 1010 hPa, at 16:00L the weather station reported winds from southsoutheast at 10 knots, visibility 10km, overcast cloud, temperature 28 degrees C, dew point 24 degrees C, QNH 1007 hPa.
