An Aerolineas Argentinas Boeing 737-800, registration LV-FRK performing flight AR-1476 from Buenos Aires Aeroparque,BA to Tucuman,TU (Argentina) with 130 passengers and 7 crew, was on approach to Tucuman when the #2 engine (CFM56) ingested a bird. The aircraft continued for a safe landing in Tucuman.

The aircraft was unable to perform the return flight due to damage to a number of fan blades, the return flight was cancelled.
