A Western Air Saab 340A, registration C6-KID performing flight WT-702 from Grand Bahamas International to Nassau (Bahamas) with 20 passengers and 3 crew, was enroute when the crew needed to shut an engine down. The aircraft landed safely in Nassau.

Bahamas' Air Accident Investigation Department (AAID) reported the occurrence is being investigated together with the runway excursion of C6-HBW, that happened later the same day, see Accident: Western Air SF34 at Grand Bahamas on Feb 7th 2017, electrical problems, left main gear collapse on landing back.
