A Severstal Canadair CRJ-200, registration RA-67234 performing flight D2-153 from Cherepovets to Moscow Domodedovo (Russia), was climbing through FL230 out of Cherepovets when the right hand engine (CF34) began to vibrate and the EGT indications increased. The crew stopped the climb and returned to Cherepovets for a safe landing.

Russia's Rosaviatsia reported the parameters of the right hand engine changed due to incomplete combustion of fuel in the combustion chamber after a flame tube burned out.
