A United Airbus A320-200, registration N417UA performing flight UA-1759 from Denver,CO to Tampa,FL (USA) with 138 passengers and 5 crew, was enroute at FL350 about 70nm east of Tulsa,OK (USA) when the crew needed to shut an engine (V2527) down. The aircraft diverted to Tulsa for a safe landing on runway 36R about 20 minutes later.

A replacement A320-200 registration N439UA reached Tampa with a delay of 6 hours.
