An Air Incheon Boeing 737-400 freighter, flight KJ-711 from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Russia) to Seoul (South Korea) with 3 crew, was climbing out of Yuzhno Sakhalinsk already in contact with Sapporo (Japan) Air Traffic Control when the crew declared PAN reporting the failure of their left hand engine (CFM56) and requested to return to Yuzhno Sakhalinsk. The aircraft landed safely back in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and taxied to the apron.

The airline operates two Boeing 737-400 freighters registrations HL8271 and HL8291.
