A Stobart Air Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A on behalf of Flybe, registration EI-REM performing flight BE-818 from Isle of Man to Manchester,EN (UK), was enroute at FL130 when the windshield heating failed repeatedly. The aircraft continued to Manchester for a safe landing on runway 05R.

The British AAIB rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.

The occurrence aircraft resumed service after 20 hours on the ground in Manchester.
