An Arik Air Boeing 737-700, registration 5N-MJD performing flight W3-662 from Lagos to Jos (Nigeria), was climbing through FL150 out of Lagos when the crew needed to shut one of the engines (CFM56). The aircraft returned to Lagos for a safe landing on runway 18R about 35 minutes after departure. The aircraft was unable to vacate the runway on its own and was towed to the apron.
