A Southern Air Charter Beech 1900C, registration N376SA performing flight PL-701 from Nassau to Deadman's Cay (Bahamas) with 9 passengers and 2 crew, touched down in Deadman's Cay with the landing gear in the up position and skidded to a halt on the runway. There were no injuries, the aircraft received substantial damage however.

The cause of the gear up landing is under investigation, current working theory is the crew forgot to lower the landing gear.

Deadman's Cay offers an Asphalt runway 09/27 of 4000 feet/1220 meters length.
