A LOT Polish Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration SP-EQF performing flight LO-775 from Warsaw (Poland) to Vilnius (Lithuania), was on final approach to Vilnius' runway 19 when the crew went around from 1500 feet MSL reporting problems with the flaps. The aircraft entered a hold at 5000 feet while the crew worked the checklists, the flaps could not be extended however. The crew prepared the aircraft for a flaps up landing and landed safely on Vilnius' runway 19 at a higher than normal speed about 25 minutes after aborting the first approach.

The return flight was cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 6 hours, then positioned back to Warsaw and resumed service the following morning about 14 hours after landing in Vilnius.
