The flight had earlier returned to Newark due to a couple of fault messages, see Incident: Expressjet E145 near Newark on Aug 25th 2016, couple of messages, nose wheel steering issue.
A replacement replacement Embraer ERJ-145 registration N15572 reached Toronto with a delay of 6.5 hours.
