An Ameriflight Swearingen SA-227 freighter on behalf of UPS, registration N246DH performing freight flight A8-6907 from San Juan (Puerto Rico) to Sint Maarten (Sint Maarten), was on approach to Sint Maarten when the crew could not lower the nose gear and entered a hold. Despite working the checklists the crew was unable to extend the nose gear, prepared for an emergency landing with the nose gear up. The crew kept the nose up as long as practicable, lowered the nose onto the runway and brought the aircraft to a stop on the runway. There were no injuries.
