An Eva Air Airbus A330-200, registration B-16310 performing flight BR-215 from Taipei (Taiwan) to Singapore (Singapore) with 144 passengers, had just levelled off at cruise level 320 when the crew decided to return to Taipei due to an abnormal cargo door indication. The aircraft landed safely back on Taipei's runway 23L about one hour after departure.

A replacement A330-200 registration B-16307 reached Singapore with a delay of 3:45 hours.

The occurrence aircraft was able to resume service after about 8 hours on the ground.
