A subsequent search of the aircraft revealed no trace of explosives and hazardeous materials.
Schiphol police did not report further details as to why the situation was identified as suspicious.
A replacement Fokker 100 registration PH-OFO reached Leeds with a delay of 5 hours.
Military police reported the crew found a note saying a bomb was on board.
