KLM Cityhopper F70 near Dortmund on Aug 2nd 2016, several false indications, "engine failure" but normal engine ops

A KLM Cityhopper Fokker 70, registration PH-KZA performing flight KL-1767 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was enroute at FL250 about 30nm west of Dortmund (Germany) when the crew decided to return to Amsterdam reporting a number of false indications further explaining, they had a #2 engine failure indication although the engine was working normally. They suspected an electrical problem as cause of the faulty indications, it appears everything was working perfectly except for the strange indications. The aircraft landed safely back on Amsterdam's runway 27 about 25 minutes later.

A replacement Fokker 70 registration PH-WXD reached Frankfurt with a delay of 2 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 9 hours after landing.
