A Star Air Freight Boeing 767-200 freighter, registration OY-SRJ performing flight S6-6645 (dep Jun 29th) from Porto (Portugal) to Cologne/Bonn (Germany), was on approach to Cologne's runway 32R when the crew went around from about 1500 feet due to a problem with the landing gear. The aircraft climbed to FL060, the crew worked the related checklists and landed the aircraft safely on runway 32R about 30 minutes after aborting the first approach.

The occurrence aircraft was able to depart for its next flight about 4 hours after landing.
