A Star Air Freight Boeing 767-300, reistration OY-SRU performing flight S6-6565 (dep Dec 19th) from East Midlands,EN (UK) to Cologne (Germany), was descending through FL250 towards Cologne when the crew declared PAN reporting an engine (CF6) failure, secured the engine and continued for a safe landing on runway 14L about 20 minutes later.

The aircraft is still on the ground 22 hours after landing.
